Fly Fishing
Collon Cura River
Estancia Collon Cura is a 93,000-acre ranch managed to maintain ecological and economic vitality. Located on the banks of the Collon Cura River and having private access to stretches of this prolific river, Collon Cura Lodge offers an unforgettable Patagonian fly-fishing experience.
This Northern Patagonia river receives waters from various tributaries as it flows from north to south creating tremendous biodiversity allowing the river to provide some of the finest fly fishing in the region.
The ranch has multiple access points throughout the property to allow easy access to productive stretches for classic floats on this beautiful river. With the numerous access points right on the ranch, the angler and guide have the opportunity to choose the best section to float on any given day. Numerous areas may also be waded on Collon Cura as well.
This river is perfect for beginners and veterans alike with rewarding riffles, pocket water, long pools and willow lined and undercut banks.
The Collon Cura is a Northern Patagonia classic, a versatile river that can be fished effectively throughout the season with streamers, nymphs and dries for its healthy population of large Browns and Rainbows.
